What are you doing this evening?
In the summers on Wednesdays, I’m usually racing on a sailboat but the owner of the boat is not available today.

I don’t have any good way to answer this as I don’t watch any sports.
Describe your ideal week.
No work. Hanging out with loved ones. Taking the dogs for hikes. Playing lots of pinball.
If you had to give up one word that you use regularly, what would it be?
Ok this is more than one word but anyways.
Corporate lingo has invaded some of the ways I talk and I’d like to get it out of there. It’s so cringy.
Some examples:
- circle back
- touch base
- solution (as a verb)
What other terms annoy you on a daily basis?
Are you holding a grudge? About?
I think my radicalization of urban planning and cars started with the Not Just Bikes channel on youtube.
My grudge here is with auto manufacturers, oil companies, and the laws and policies they’ve been able to influence via lobbying.
Lakeshore Drive ruins Chicago’s lakefront I’m currently visiting Chicago on a mini vacation and was immediately reminded of the terrible scar of car infrastructure on the landscape. The infamous LSD.
This grudge seemed very appropriate and timely as I was driving around Chicago today.
Share a story about the furthest you’ve ever traveled from home.
I visited New Zealand in 2017. Wonderful trip and I’d love to get back to explore the south island.
I went skydiving!
This trip was with a group of fellow students at my university.
Tell us about the last thing you got excited about.
I’m a pinball addict and I get excited when I get to play new pinball machines.
I run the weekly tournaments here at both barcades and publish results on tcpinball.org. I won on August 7th most recently!
Why do you blog?
I want to start writing down my technical notes so I don’t have to dig through my shell history to figure out how I did it in the past.
Hoping that WordPress will help me get over the hurdle that is working with my existing blog on my tilde page.
