wherever you go, there you are

If you had to give up one word …

If you had to give up one word that you use regularly, what would it be?

Ok this is more than one word but anyways.

Corporate lingo has invaded some of the ways I talk and I’d like to get it out of there. It’s so cringy.

Some examples:

  • circle back
  • touch base
  • solution (as a verb)

What other terms annoy you on a daily basis?

Circle back gets on my nerves at times, but touch base is probably one I use too often.

Circle back or touch base? πŸ˜‚ Circle back always makes me think of the animated movie Bolt where the agent always said β€œPut a pin in that” because he was self entered and didn’t want to talk about what the other person was asking about. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ πŸ˜‚ Touch base always puts me in the mind of a baseball player touching base. So, when I over use β€œI needed to touch base with you about…”, I’m afraid I’m slamming into the baseman. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ˜†
